About

Learn a language. Build a cathedral.

SaySign turns American Sign Language practice into a slow, beautiful act of creation. Every sign you master earns you a single piece of stained glass. Piece by piece, cathedral windows take shape on your drafting table.

The library ships with 78 signs across 8 categories (alphabet, numbers, greetings, everyday, family, feelings, questions, verbs). Each sign feeds one of 24 stained-glass masterpieces drawn from the world's great cathedrals, mosques, synagogues, and museums — from Chartres and Sainte-Chapelle to Tiffany, Chagall, Matisse, and Richter's pixel field at Cologne. A complete cathedral is 624 shards of light.

How it works

  1. Open a lesson and watch the animated cartoon-hand demo.
  2. Optionally turn on your camera as a mirror to practice alongside it.
  3. When you've done it, tap I performed this sign. A shard flies into your window.
  4. Return tomorrow. The cathedral is waiting.

Note: the camera is a self-check mirror only. Automatic pose detection is not active yet — you mark each sign correct yourself.

SaySign is in early development. For now this is the skeleton, the glass, and the gold leaf. More signs, more windows, and real pose detection come next.
