SaySign is run by Noetica Apps LLC. Noetica Apps LLC is the data controller for the personal data described here, which means we decide how and why it is used.

What we collect and why

  • Account details (email address, password): to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
  • Learning progress and settings (lessons finished, shards earned, chosen window, display options): to provide the service. Most of this is stored only on your own device. Legal basis: contract.
  • Subscription status: to unlock the Family Plan. Legal basis: contract.
  • Technical data (IP address, browser and device type, error logs): to keep SaySign secure, prevent fraud and fix problems. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Messages you send us: to answer support and free-access requests. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

The camera preview in lessons runs only in your browser. We do not record or upload camera video.

Who we share data with

  • Service providers who host and run the app for us, such as hosting and database providers
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which handles the sale, subscription management, payments, tax and invoicing
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, when needed
  • Authorities, where the law requires it

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open. When it is no longer needed, or when you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us through the app and we will respond within one month.

Children

SaySign is designed for families. Accounts should be created by a parent or guardian, who manages a child's use of the app.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted connections.

Cookies and local storage

We use only essential storage in your browser, to keep you signed in and remember your progress and settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
